Petunia

Charlie McDermott (“The Middle”), Vanessa Marano (“Gilmore Girls,” “Switched at Birth”) and John Ross Bowie (“Speechless,” “The Big Bang Theory”) star in this coming of age dramedy written and directed by emerging filmmaker Alec Cohen.

Executive Producer of Sasquatch Sunset

When Alex and Lily adopt a fragile orange kitten named Petunia, they hope it will bring them closer as they juggle the pressures of early adulthood in Los Angeles. But as Petunia falls mysteriously ill, their relationship is tested by spiraling vet bills, artistic failure, and financial instability.

Alex struggles to prove his worth as a photographer while Lily fights to maintain her corporate foothold. As the couple navigates a chaotic 48-hour stretch filled with pawn shops, maxed credit cards, and emotional revelations, they must decide what kind of future they’re ready for—and whether they’ll face it together.

The film also stars Joshua Burge (“The Revenant”), Lucy Loken (“Young Sheldon”), Lana McKissack (“Countdown”), Joy Brunson (“This Is Us”), Devon Werkheiser (“Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide”), Chris Candy (“Spaceballs 2”) and Paul Eiding (“Transformers”).

'Petunia' is heartwarming, funny and ultimately about what it means to hold on to each other when the world feels like it’s falling apart.
